Ryan's Profile
ICT Services business owner and company founder Ryan Mysko has built a business on being knowledgeable and providing effective reliable services at a fair value.
"I believe that you need to show up and do what you said you were going to do, when you said you were going to do it," Ryan says.
Ryan has always been interested in business, even from a young age. Instead of getting afterschool jobs like most teens Ryan was looking for ways to capitalize on his skills and abilities. Manicuring laws in the summer, and snow removal in the winter, quickly gave way to teaching piano.
"It was a fun way to do something I love and to make some money all through high school", recalls Ryan.
It seemed only natural that he would pursue a Business and Commerce education after high school. After two years of business courses, majoring in Professional Management and Marketing, Ryan graduated at the top of his class. By that time interest in business had sprouted into a love for Information Technology.
"Ever since I was young I showed an interest and an aptitude form computers. I was reluctant to change directions but everyone said that I should go ahead and do this," remembers Ryan.
At that point Ryan headed back to the books for the next four years. Earning himself a diploma from the Red Deer College and then his degree in Information Systems from NAIT, Ryan once again graduated at the top of his class.
Quickly getting a job with a software design company Ryan spent the next few years working with a variety of companies, from livestock to oil fields, designing, updating, and building software.
"When you work with other companies on a project and learn about them, get to know the people that work there, and see how they do their jobs, it’s really interesting. I feel as if I was working alongside them for a while," Ryan states.
When the opportunity and challenge came up to start a company of his own the temptation was too much. Ryan was drawn towards it.
"It’s been interesting. Different than I expected, but worth while. The past couple of years have really been about the people I’ve gotten to know. The technology is always about the latest and greatest, but it always brings me back to forming new relationships."
